Minnesota House Passes Medical Marijuana Bill

Posted: Updated:
The Minnesota House has passed its version of a bill that would legalize the use of medical marijuana in the state. The legislation is more restrictive than a Senate bill that was passed earlier this week.

The House bill, passed by an 86-39 vote, would legalize medical marijuana in pill, oil and vapor form from state dispensaries. It now heads to the Senate, which will likely vote on the bill early next week.

Governor Mark Dayton has not said if he supports this bill, but has said in the past that he would not approve of a bill that law enforcement didn't support.
