Firefighters Work Storage Unit Fire in North Fargo

Posted: Updated:
The Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of a storage unit fire on Fargo's north side this Monday morning.

It was called in around 4:30 a.m. from 2101 12th Street North -- that's a neighborhood a few blocks north of the FARGODOME.

Assistant Fire Chief Skarloken says when crews arrived they found one storage unit fully engulfed in flames, and the fire was starting to spread to the attached units on each side. Three fire crews were called out in case more help was needed.

"We had to breach probably about 10-12 storage room doors, there was fire involvement in probably half of those, the rest was just smoke." says Ast. Chief Skarloken.

Fire crews are on scene investigating the cause.
