UND football is continuing to make strides at spring ball workouts. The team is adjusting to a lot of new looks and taking a step back towards the fundamentals.
While working to implement a new offense and restructure the North Dakota football mentality, head coach Bubba Schweigert says he's seen the greatest improvement in the attitude of his team and stresses how important that will be in their success.
"I think we made progress," Schweigert summarized after practice today. "We had number ten today. Have five to go. We're a better football team than we were when we started and that's part of the goal. But I'd probably like us to progress a little bit faster."
The quarterback battle continues for UND this season. Bubba says they're waiting for someone to make some strides but there will be one starter named by season kick off.
