As the North Dakota men's hockey team puts their loss to Minnesota behind them and begins to look forward to the 2014-15 season, a big question mark remains on what that roster will look like.
While the team waits to hear of forward Rocco Grimaldi's decision, they do know they'll have a large part of their core back in the locker room. That includes Thief River Falls native Zane Gothberg in net, as well as, defenseman Jordan Schmaltz and forward Michael Parks. The only players UND has lost as of now, are their four seniors who are set to graduate.
The quick commitments put the team in a good spot as they try to move on.
"We can get down to work," head coach Dave Hakstol quickly summarized. "We can start pushing forward and taking advantage of every day as a group to try and get better, try and improve and put ourselves in as strong of a position as we possibly can."
