Original Story:

The Moorhead Police Department is investigating a criminal sexual act between a 15-year-old girl and two Lincoln Stars hockey players. A cell phone video that recorded the sexual act is now circulating some United States Hockey League teams.

According to a search warrant with the Moorhead Police Department, an 18-year-old from Moorhead that plays for the Lincoln Stars, and an 18-year-old from California, were in Fargo on the night of February 15. A detective says they played the Fargo Force that night, before returning to a Moorhead hotel.

The two men invited the underage girl over and one of them proceeded to have consensual sex with the girl. The other man told police in an interview in Lincoln that he recorded a 10 second video of the act on his cell phone. After the act, a copy of the video was sent to another player. The players told police the victim consented to pictures being taken during the act.

On February 27, the Moorhead Police Department received a complaint from a parent that the 10 second video was making the rounds to hockey teams around the USHL. The girl reported the video had made it as far as a team in Waterloo, Iowa.

The investigation is continuing and no charges have yet been filed. The cell phones have been turned over to law enforcement, and the video deleted. Valley News Live reached out to the Lincoln Stars, but team officials say they have no comment on the investigation.
