Force Take the Win in Final Game

Posted: Updated:

Fargo Force hosting their final game of the season tonight as they've missed the playoffs for the first time in program history.

They give up the lead early to Des Moines. Buccaneers short handed when they still manage to pull numbers and momentum. Connor Schmidt goes top shelf on Brendan Jensen and takes the one goal lead for Des Moines.

Force get some nice looks in the second period but Billy Christopoulos comes up big for the Buccaneers. Jensen doing his part as well for the Force. He's put in several one-on-one situations and gets the stop each time --- body, skate or glove: Jensen with a great second period.

Force give him a little support and tie it up in the third period. They'll play even through overtime till the Force head to their second straight Shootout. They'll claim this one as Jensen makes two saves and Neal Goff nets his shot for the 2-1 win.
