NDDOT Beginning to Re-Open Some Roads in the Valley

From the ND DOT: The North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened ND HWY 13 (all lanes) from Wahpeton to I-29, and ND HWY 2 (all lanes) from Devils Lake to Grand Forks. 

The following highways are currently closed due to zero visibility and snow covered roads causing hazardous driving conditions. Motorists are not allowed to travel on a closed road due to life threatening conditions. The road may be impassible or blocked. Motorists who drive past a road closure device may be fined up to $250. Road closures include:

  • I-29 CLOSED (all lanes) from South Dakota Border to the Canadian Border.
  • I-94 CLOSED (all lanes) from Bismarck to Fargo.
  • I-29 in South Dakota is also CLOSED in from the South Dakota border to Brookings.
