Hemlock Golf Club is Michigans Version Of Augusta National And Pine Valley

Posted: Updated:

Not very many people have access to the #1 and #3 rated golf courses in the world but Hemlock Golf Club in Ludington, Michigan, has many of the same characteristics and is accessible to the public.

Ludington, Michigan – March 27, 2014 /MM-prReach/ —

Michigan is blessed to have so many golf courses, but few are as special as Hemlock Golf Club. Hemlock Golf Club is one of few courses that provide walk mown greens to give players tour quality putting surfaces, immaculately presented, and has many characteristics of Pine Valley and Augusta National. Many guests share the same opinion as Bob van Gorkom of Charleston, SC, “In my opinion, Hemlock Golf Club is one of the most beautiful places on earth! I lived in Ludington for two summers and spent one season as a member there playing everyday. Although I live in Charleston, SC now and have access to world class courses like Kiawah’s Ocean Course, I still dream about the day I can return to Hemlock! I can’t recommend it enough!”

Hemlock Golf Club recognizes that to be considered special and unique the details are very important. In addition to being immacluatly maintained, Hemlock provides the precision cut of walk mown greens, the same mowing techinques as they provide at Augusta National, home of the Masters, making them one of very few public access courses in the United States that have this feature for golfers.

When GOLF.com asked panel members, “What is your favorite muni or sleeper course?”, Jeff Ritter, Senior Editor of Sports Illustrated Golf Group, stated, “Every July, the Ritter family takes a quick trip to northern Michigan, and the itinerary includes at least one round at Hemlock Golf Club, outside a great little beach town called Ludington. The course rolls over and along the sand dunes near Lake Michigan, it’s immaculate, it’s interesting, and you can play it for less than $40.”

Golfers looking for a unique golf experience must visit Hemlock Golf Club and judge for themselves on what a special place Hemlock Golf Club is. For more information, visit http://hemlockgolfclub.com or call (231) 845-1300.
