ORIGINAL STORY

The Bemidji Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a woman after someone reported suspicious activity by her. Just before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, Bemidji Police officers were called to the Holiday Gas Station on Paul Bunyan Drive South.

A caller told officers that while in the parking lot they had overheard a female who was looking into the trunk of her vehicle make a comment about "My baby, I think something is wrong with my baby".  As the caller drove by the vehicle, they say it appeared there was an object shaped like a baby in the trunk and not moving.

The vehicle left before officers could get there and was unable to be located. Police are looking for a green four door car. The woman they are looking for is described as Native American with glasses and brown hair. She was wearing black pants and black sweatshirt at the time.

An image of the unknown female was taken from store surveillance video and is connected to this story. If you have any information, contact the Bemidji Police Department immediately.
