Vehicle Crashes into West Fargo Home

Posted: Updated:

A West Fargo home is damaged after a vehicle crashed into it early Tuesday evening. Emergency crews on scene say a woman in a Toyota Carolla may have suffered a medical issue while driving.

Authorities say the woman was driving on Sheyenne Street in West Fargo when something caused her to pass out behind the wheel, crash through a backyard fence and hitting a home. The home is located in the 3600 block of North Sedona Drive.

The impact broke a basement window, but did not fully enter the home. Emergency responders are unsure why the woman passed out, but say it was not a result of drugs or alcohol.

Children were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. No word on the condition of those children, the driver, or if anyone was inside the house at the time.
