Solemn Memorial At St. Patrick's Day Parade for Fargo Police Officer

A solemn memorial for a Fargo Police officer who took his own life earlier this week. 

A riderless horse followed a Fargo Police squad in Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Fargo, in memory of Lt. Jeff Skuza. Two officers also walked alongside the horse. 

Lt. Skuza died Tuesday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He served the city of Fargo for 23 years.

Skuza's funeral was also held Saturday morning.

Funeral arrangements have been made for a Fargo police officer who died this week.

A visitation for Lt. Jeff Skuza will be held Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sts. Anne and Joachim Church in south Fargo. A prayer service to follow at 8:00 p.m.. His funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Skuza died Tuesday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He served the city of Fargo for 23 years.
