2014 Paralympic Winter Games Kick Off

Althought the Olympic winter games are over in Sochi, there are still athletes preparing to compete. The Paralympic winter games are start March 7, 2014. The opening ceremony kick off friday and go until March 16, 2014. There is a total of 692 athletes competing. 

The winter sports for paralympics are alpine skiing, biathlon, cross crountry skiing, curling, sled hockey and snowboard. 

 NBC and NBCSN will show 52 hours of coverage of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.
