Two Arrested in West Fargo with Nearly 2 Pounds of Pot

The West Fargo Police Department arrested two people on Wednesday after they discovered drugs in cash during a traffic stop. The stop happened in the 1700 block of East Main Avenue in West Fargo.

The officers found 27 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two pill categorized as "Schedule II." The driver, 27-year-old Christopher Ness, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of marijuana by a driver.

The passenger, 33-year-old Katie Fossen, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance schedule II. The vehicle and $334 cash were seized by police.
