Posted: Updated:

President Obama hits the road today. He's speaking in St. Paul, Minnesota as he continues to focus on the economy.

The president arrives at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport about 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, his first stop is at a light rail facility.

He'll then head to Union Depot to talk about job creation as part of his planned, "Year of Action" -- outlined in the State of the Union.

The President is also expected to announce a new competition to encourage investment, create jobs and repair America's crumbling infrastructure.

President Obama heads back to the airport to fly out at 3 p.m.

So a heads up if your traveling to Minneapolis or St. Paul, even though his trip is short, there will be some traffic delays and detours around the Twin Cities Wednesday afternoon.
