Fargo isn't the only place where small breweries are bubbling up.
Junkyard Brewing Company in Moorhead is currently working on plans to add a taproom to its business.
Junkyard has been brewing beer since 2012, and currently offers four varieties of beer with plans to eventually offer eight.
Their business goal is to add the taproom in a warehouse space on 1st Avenue by this summer.
"We wanted to move to a taproom because it's going to make the brewery a lot more profitable," said Aaron Juhnke of Junkyard Brewing Co. "And it's going to give a us a lot more chances to interact with customers because right now, we don't have as much as we like, just Wednesdays and Fridays or when we get out and meet people at events. It's always nice to meet people who are drinking our beer and tell us what they think."
Although the taproom isn't built just yet, you can stop by the brewery at 1320 1st Avenue North on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. to sample beer and purchase growlers.
