It's signing day and several area universities are releasing the names of their 2014 recruiting class. The following list of players are the football commitments for the football program at the University of North Dakota.

BRANDON WALKER
WR, 6-2, 185
Flint, Mich. (Carman-Ainsworth HS)
High School Coach: Nate Williams
Earned All-Saginaw Valley League first team honors after catching 20 passes for 372 yards and five touchdowns as a senior … Also had four interceptions … Also an all-conference performer as a sophomore and junior … Son of Shannon and Nakeysha Walker.

CHRIS CARTER

Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Brother Rice HS)
High School Coach: Al Fracassa
Earned All-Catholic League honors as a safety following junior season and cornerback during senior season … Totaled 52 tackles and 10 pass break-ups during perfect 14-0 season as a senior … Helped lead team to three consecutive Michigan Division 2 state titles … Son of Melvin and Tracei Carter.

Spent the last two seasons at Bakersfield College … As a sophomore, registered 59 tackles and four interceptions, including a 15-tackle performance at Santa Ana College … A dual-threat quarterback in high school, passed for 1,542 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 1,243 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior en route to leading his team to a 13-0 record and Valley Championship … Named The Californian's All-Area Football Player of the Year … Son of Alicia Robertson.

    Two drivers were hurt in a headon collision in Otter Tail County Saturday night.The Minnesota State Patrol says Jacquelyn Burrows, 63, of Pelican Rapids, was seriously injured. Troopers say Kelsey Laugen, 18, of Elk River, was hurt with non-life threatening injuries.According to an agency report, Burrows was traveling North on Highway 59 near 450th Street when she crossed the center line and hit Laugen head on. It happened at about 8:45 Saturday night.

    Fire In Horace, House Is Total Loss

    Crews were called at 10:10 a.m. to a house fire at7113 Woodland Circle north of Horace. Homeowners were inside at the time, but escaped, and no one was hurt. Crews battled the fire for hours; the home is a total loss. There is no cause at this time, they are still investigating. Firefighters say they had to fight the fire from outside, which makes the battle more difficult.     Beltrami Business Believed to be Total Loss After Fire

    Beltrami Fire Department says part of a business is destroyed after an early morning fire. Firefighters say they were called out around 1:00 a.m. to a fire at the Beltrami Mall.  Crews say West Central
    The Beltrami Fire Chief says is investigating the cause of the fire and say they believe it started in the shop area. The Safety Director for West Ag believes the entire building is a total loss.
