Teen Airlifted After Snowmobile Accident

Posted: Updated:

A 16-year old boy was airlifted to a Fargo hospital following a snowmobile crash Tuesday morning. Tara Morris with the Cass County Sheriff's Office says the emergency call came in just after 7:40 a.m.

The accident happened in Hunter, North Dakota, near the Northern Cass School. Morris said it is likely that the boy was riding the snowmobile to school. She said nothing else was involved in the crash, leading authorities to believe the snowmobile may have rolled.

The extent of the teen's injuries is not known. The Cass County Sheriff's Office, Hunter Ambulance and F-M Ambulance responded to the call, along with Sanford AirMed.
