Sunday, around 1:40 pm the Clay County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident involving a train and an SUV just south of Sabin, Minnesota. When they arrived the SUV was on its roof. William Briden, 91, was pronounced dead on the scene. Gloria Briden, 83, was taken by Sanford Life-flight with life-threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.

A train crashed into a car Sunday afternoon in Sabin, Minnesota killing one person and seriously injuring another. The crash happened along Clay County Road 67. A BNSF train struck a maroon SUV.
