Police Searching for Suspects in Wednesday Morning Robbery

Posted: Updated:

Fargo Police are looking for two men who robbed a south side convenience store early Wednesday morning. It happened around 2 a.m. at the Stop & Go in the 1400 block of South University Drive.

Police say surveillance video shows one of the two suspects had what looked like a blunt object concealed under his coat, and threatened the clerk with it.

They say both suspects wore face masks and scarves to conceal themselves, but it looks like one is a black male about six feet tall and 250 pounds. The other is described as 5'11" and thinner. Police couldn't be sure of his race by looking at the surveillance video because he was so bundled up.

There's another twist to the story. During the course of the investigation, police discovered the employee who called in the robbery has an outstanding warrant for burglary out of Colorado. He was arrested and is being booked into the Cass County Jail.
