Fargodome Ticket System Goes Down at Crucial Time

Posted: Updated:

Some die-hard Katy Perry fans went home from the Fargodome Monday morning very disappointed. The Dome's ticket system lost power at the same time sales were set to open for customers waiting in line, through a lottery system, to buy tickets.
The seats that would have gone to those who showed up in person were then sold to those buying online.
When the system regained power- the only sections the dome said they had available were some of the worst seats in the house.
"Were used to standing in line and paying it fair and square," Matt Delleneva, who waited in line only to get nose-bleed seats, said. "A lot of people I talked to today felt that we were getting ripped off and it's just not fair."
The Fargodome General Manager says the glitch was "extremely unfortunate" but that employees did everything they could to send customers home with tickets.
