Search Warrants Issued for Two Involved in Valley City Burglary

Posted: Updated:

The Valley City Police Department has issued warrants for the arrest of two people they believe were involved in a burglary at the Dairy Queen in Valley City on Friday, January 17.

Around 1:00 a.m. police got a call that the Dairy Queen at 909 North Central Avenue was burglarized and cash was taken from the safe inside the store. Investigators looked at surveillance video of the crime and discovered that no force was used to get into the restaurant or it's safe.

Because of information obtained from witnesses, the lack of forced entry, and the surveillance video, investigators believe that a former employee was involved in the theft. Police are now looking for the suspect and an accomplice, who they believe used the stolen money to buy a vehicle and leave town.

Police are looking for Annalice Monique Cade, 21, and Jacob Lowell Renfro, 26. Cade is wanted for Theft of Property and Burglary.  Renfro is wanted for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Valley City Police Department at 701-845-3110.
