Red Cross Releases First App for Pet Owners

Posted: Updated:

Pet owners, if you've ever wondering why your animal is acting a certain way or you need life-saving information before you can get your pet to the vet, now there's an app for that.

The American Red Cross has just released it's first, 'Pet First Aid App.'

It gives expert information about your pets health and what to do with your pet during an emergency situation, like when people had to be evacuated from Casselton, ND because of the train derailment.

Prairie Winds Veterinary Center in Fargo will official launch the app Friday.

The 0.99 app is available for both Apple and Andriod devices.

The Red Cross also offers a pet first aid course to practice skills and receive feedback.
