UPDATE

We now know the names of the man and woman arrested in connection with a robbery this afternoon at Casey's General Store in Horace, North Dakota.

In a release, the Cass County Sheriff's Office credits a "cooperative effort between the Fargo Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff's Office" for the apprehension of Randi Marie Fritze and Rodrick Christian Dida, both of Fargo.

According to the release, a silent alarm came in from Casey's at 4:03 p.m., leading the Fargo Police Department to capture Fritze and Dida during a traffic stop scarcely ten minutes later.

A Cass County Investigator told Valley News Live several law agencies wanted to interview the pair. Captain Mitch Burris says at this point it doesn't appear they are linked to other armed robberies, but added the investigation is far from over.

This is the fourth armed robbery this year in the F-M area, and seventh of a business since November.

Despite Tuesday's arrests, investigators still have several cases that are unsolved including: two Mister Money locations, one at a Fargo Cenex Zip Trip, one at a Fargo Stop-N-Go and a West Fargo Stop-N-Go and at the Fargo Petro Serve.

UPDATE

Fargo Police tell Valley News Live they arrested two people in connection with an afternoon armed robbery in Horace, North Dakota. Authorities made quick work, arresting the suspects less than an hour after the robbery occurred.

A Cass County Sheriff's Captain says one black man and one white woman are now in custody. The woman was driving the tan car the two fled the scene in and authorities say evidence in the car confirmed they had the robbery suspects. Their vehicle was pulled over in South Fargo in the 4900 of 44th Avenue.

The man who entered the Casey's General Store was armed with a gun, which is a similar description to several other armed robberies across the Fargo-Moorhead area lately.  It is too early to say whether this crime is connected with any of the other armed robberies that are still being investigated.

Stay with Valley News Live for updates on this developing story.
