Moorhead Man Gets 30 Years in Prison for Child Porn

Posted: Updated:

A Moorhead man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after lewd videos were found on his lost cell phone. Dustin Muscha pleaded guilty to four charges of child pornography in June of 2012, and on Wednesday, a federal judge handed down that mandatory sentence.

Muscha lost his phone at the Fargodome in September of 2012. Someone found the phone and brought it to a Sprint store, where a worker spotted child porn videos and called the police.

Police found a pornographic video of a girl between 6 and 8 years-old. Muscha was charged with production and possession of child pornography.

Muscha was earlier investigated by Fargo Police for inappropriately touching a four-year-old girl, but charges were never filed. Muscha will be monitored for the rest of his life after he is released.
