Routes & Parking for FARGODOME Concerts

Posted: Updated:

The FARGODOME sent out a list of recommended traffic routes for this Saturday's P!nk Concert in Fargo. Global Spectrum in cooperation with The North Dakota State Patrol and The Fargo Police Department is offering the traffic tips for guests attending the concert to make arrival as smooth as possible.

Northbound and Southbound Interstate-29 traffic should follow interstate message boards for off ramps to take. These message boards will rotate between off ramps to ease traffic congestion.  In town traffic is recommended to use 10th Street North to either 17th or 19th Avenue North.

As of January 1, 2014 parking rates have increased to $5.00 per vehicle. Have your fee ready at the parking gates to help expedite waiting time. Additional parking available and recommended on NDSU Campus, Fargo North High School and John E. Carlson Coliseum located on 17th Avenue.

ALL busses will be directed to off load on the west side of the FARGODOME using Albrecht Avenue. Busses will be staged along Albrecht Avenue after the event to pick up riders and be directed back to 19th Avenue.

If you are planning on bringing a bus to the facility, you are asked to contact the FARGODOME and ask to speak with Bernie Larson. There is limited bus parking, if this area is full you may be asked to stage your bus off site and be directed back to the west doors once there is room to park on Albrecht Avenue.

Limousines and other drop-offs should take place on the east side of the FARGODOME at the main entrance. Depending on space availability limousines may be asked to leave the property during the event and return to pick up passengers.

More than 20,000 guests are expected in the vicinity of the FARGODOME, and there will be a high volume of pedestrian traffic crossing streets leading to the facility.  And remember, there is no tailgating permitted at the FARGODOME prior to the concert.

FARGODOME parking lots will open at 4:00 p.m. with the public doors opening for the concert at 6:00 p.m.  The FARGODOME lots are expected to be at capacity well before the concert begins. At that time, guests will be directed to auxiliary parking lots in the area.

Concert-goers are strongly encouraged to arrive early using the recommended routes. The FARGODOME, in cooperation with the EVAC and the Fargo Police Department will be controlling all major intersections.
