Two Men Charged for Stealing $2,800 in Liquor from Happy Harry's

The two men who stole close to $3,000 dollars worth of liquor from a Grand Forks liquor store have been identified and charges are now filed.

Todd Anthony Secord, 49, of Minneapolis, and David Edward Snyder, 56, of Bloomington, Minnesota are charged with Class C felony theft. Neither of the men are currently in custody.

Police say Secord and Snyder shoplifted four bottles of liquor, including a bottle of Louis the XIII Cognac worth about $2,600. A Happy Harry's employee says the men broke into a locked cabinet.

The Grand Forks Police Department received several phone calls and emails about possible suspects in this case and thank everyone who provided information in regards to the incident.

Grand Forks Police are asking for the public's help in locating two men who stole some expensive liquor from an area liquor store.

Police say On December 29 between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., two men shoplifted four bottles of liquor from the Happy Harry's Bottle shop located at 2051 32nd Avenue South. The four bottles of liquor have a replacement value of approximately $2,800 dollars according to Happy Harry's.

One of the bottles was Louis the XIII Cognac worth about $2,600. Police say they managed to break into locked cases, which stored some of the high-valued booze.

The first suspect is a white male, estimated to be 55 to 65 years old with gray hair. He was wearing a gray and blue jacket and black cap with a brown bill.

The second suspect is a white male, 38 to 45 years old with dark brown hair and glasses. He was wearing a black Carhartt hooded jacket, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap at the time of the incident.
