Bison Finally in Frisco

Posted: Updated:

The morning started with a delay for the NDSU Bison football team and staff. They would over come that like they have every other challenge though and make it down to Frisco, Texas for their first practice of the week.

The practice squad saw an even bigger delay than the first chartered flight though so the team was forced to improvise. Valley News Live Sports Director Jamal Spencer is in Frisco with the team and takes us through their events.

Valley News Team's Mike Morken and Dave Erickson are also in Frisco this week continuing Valley News Live's team coverage. They experienced travel delays after their flight had to make and emergency landing in Wisconsin. Passengers were then bussed to Chicago, where flights were delayed because of weather. They eventually made it to Texas on Wednesday night.

Keep an eye out for updates from Mike Morken, he'll be providing North Dakotans with the "Flavor of Frisco" so we can experience the Bison fever happening in the south.

Remember to tune in on Saturday for the only hour and a half long pre-game show before the title game.  The Bison pre-game show, sponsored by Petro Serve USA and Nodak Mutual Insurance, will air on KVLY channel 11 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Kick-off is at 1:00 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN 2.
