Free Showers & Facilities for Evacuated Casselton Residents

Posted: Updated:

Monday's train derailment near Casselton, North Dakota has forced some families from their homes, but a couple facilities in Fargo are offering their services for the evacuees.

The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties and Family Wellness are providing free showers and use of facilities for any family or individual from the Casselton area in need. Families or individuals can simply check in at the front desk with ID to gain access to the facility.

The YMCA has two facilities located in Fargo. The Fercho branch is located in downtown Fargo at 400 1st Avenue South, and the Schlossman branch is just south of West Acres at 4243 19th Avenue South.

The YMCA's partner facility, Family Wellness, is located near Scheels Arena at 2960 Seter Parkway, Fargo.

The Y is a not-for-profit community service organization and says it's happy to reach out and help the community in Cass and Clay Counties whenever possible.
