Car Hit by Train in Casselton

No one was injured early Friday morning when a car was hit by a train in Casselton, North Dakota. Sergeant Tara Morris with the Cass County Sheriff's Office says the call came in shortly after 12:30 a.m.

The driver was able to get out of the car before the crash happened, and was checked out by the emergency team as a precaution. The car was hit at 3rd Avenue and 1st Street South and had to be towed away.

No other information on the crash, or why the vehicle was on the tracks, has been released.
