ORIGINAL STORY

The first holiday season in the new Fargo brewery location proved successful for the Fargo Brewing Company. Brew master Aaron Hill says the holiday sales far exceeded their expectations.

Hill tells Valley News Live they ran out of growlers, which is a 64 ounce container. They also ran out of pint glasses, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sold a lot of beer. He says although it is great to see the merchandise flying off the shelves, they likely lost sales by not having enough in house.

"Order a lot more t-shirts and sweatshirts. Make sure we have plenty of growlers in stock before the holiday. We'll be prepared next year. We won't make this mistake again," Hill explains.

He says the Fargo Brewing Co. following continues to grow online and on social media and that may have played a part in the holiday boom as people made their way to Fargo.

"We had a lot of people come in this week who have maybe been fans on Facebook or Twitter who live somewhere else or have family here. So I think this was their first opportunity to come in and see the place, take a tour, have some pints, things like that."

Hill says they are expecting more merchandise into the store on Friday. The Fargo Brewing Co. is located at 610 North University Drive in Fargo. The tap room is open Tuesday-Friday from 4:00-10:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 12:00-10:00 p.m.
