Street Crews to Plow and Scrape Ice from Roads

Posted: Updated:

The mild weather forecast for Monday will help street crews clear some of the recent snow and ice build up.  Fargo Public Works Department will be out in full force on Monday and throughout the night clearing snow and scraping ice from roadways.

The expected warm weather will soften the ice making it an opportune time to scrape it from streets. Crews will begin on primary streets and then move to secondary streets.

Public Works will also be hauling snow out of the downtown area overnight Monday. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to parking signs and move their vehicles off the streets when appropriate.

Seasonal night parking restrictions, which are in place until April 15, restrict parking on the street between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Street signs noting the restrictions are located in the affected areas.

Property owners are also reminded to remove snow from their sidewalks.
