Bowls For Babies Celebrates 11 Years

For the 11th year, March of Dimes of North Dakota is hosting their largest event of the year, Bowls for Babies.

Last year more than 1,000 people attended the event and raised more than $60,000. With 100% of that money staying right here in North Dakota.

The Bowls for Babies event was developed to bring together area communities in awareness of premature births, birth defects, and infant mortality.

Once again Bowls for Babies, will take place at the Ramada Plaza & Suites in Fargo at the Crystal Ballroom. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and the event runs until 1:30 p.m.

Eleven soups make up this years menu, featuring different area restaurants.

  • Mezzaluna- Mexican pork & pistachio
  • Basis- Smoked gouda beer cheese
  • Ramada Plaza & Suites- Chicken wild rice
  • Maxwells- Chipotle sweet potato bisque
  • Hotel Donaldson- Chicken & dumpling
  • Grazies Italian Grill- Italian sausage florentine
  • Granite City- Cheesy chicken tortilla
  • Texas Roadhouse- Chili
  • The Old Broadway- Beer cheese
  • Doolittles- Roasted butternut squash
  • Smiling Moose Deli- Homemade tomato basil

Breadsmith will also provide a variety of rolls but don't fill up on bread and soup because Fantasies in Frosting will also have dessert.

Tickets to the event are $20 each. The Ramada Plaza & Suites is located at 1635 42nd St. South, in Fargo.
