ND Legislator Pleads Not Guilty To DUI Charges

A North Dakota state representative who voted for harsher DUI penalties has pleaded not guilty to DUI charges.

Representative Scot Kelsh (D) of Fargo was pulled over last month near the intersection of I-29 and Main Avenue in Fargo.

His attorney entered his plea in a Cass County Court hearing today.

Kelsh was elected to the legislature in 1996.

His next hearing is set for March fourth.
