Safety Alert Issued After Incident on Concordia's Campus

Posted: Updated:

The Director of Public Safety at Concordia College in Moorhead sent out an alert on Monday to students and staff after an incident on campus.

Safety Director William MacDonald said a man entered a campus residential facility uninvited on Friday and the Moorhead Police Department and Concordia Public Safety Department had to have him removed.

The 23-year-old man received a trespass notice. He is described as 5'5, 160 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion.

The safety department wants to remind students on campus to keep all doors and windows locked, and do not allow anyone into residence halls unless they have a key. They add that students should park in well-lit areas when possible.

Call Concordia Public Safety at 218-299-3123 or the Moorhead Police Department at 218-299-5120 if you notice suspicious activity. You may also call the Concordia Public Safety number for an escort at any time.
