A young Belcourt man has died after a Friday afternoon crash on 35th Avenue NE, near Belcourt, North Dakota.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says Jarrod Azure, 20, was a passenger along with Joshua Jeanotte, 25, in Kevin Tjaden's, 23, Geo Storm as they were heading south on 35th Ave.

Troopers say Tjaden swerved to avoid an oncoming pickup truck, but the cars collided. The impact was so severe, Azure was pronounced dead at the scene.
