Woman Facing Drug Charge After Hiding Broken Meth Pipe in Vagina

Posted: Updated:

A Horace, North Dakota, woman is facing drug charges after police say she tried to hide a broken crack or meth pipe and syringe in her vagina.

Cass County Assistant State's Attorney Gary Euren says the incident started as an accident report. Jeana Marie Smart allegedly rear-ended another vehicle on Sunday in the 3500 block of Main Avenue in Fargo.

The officer noticed after Smart got out of his squad car there was blood on the seat where she was sitting. She was still bleeding when she was taken to the jail for booking. At that point, she admitted that she had hidden the pipe in her vagina.

A search revealed a broken glass pipe and a capped syringe in Smart's vagina. She was taken to the hospital, where broken glass was removed.

Smart is facing one count of Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia for this incident, but attorneys say she has a history of drug crimes.

Her bail was set at $2,000. She has bailed out of jail already.
