Holiday Lights Parade Tonight, VNL Crew Handing Out Candy!

Posted: Updated:

A fun holiday event for the whole family is happening Tuesday night. The Holiday Lights Parade starts at 6:30pm near Center Avenue and 8th Street in Moorhead, and continues over the Red River and down Broadway in Fargo.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the Valley News Live team. Chief Meteorologist Hutch Johnson will help kick off the festivities by lighting the tree in Moorhead. He then joins the rest of the Valley News Live team riding in our StormTeam cars and handing out candy!

There are some parking restrictions in downtown Fargo for the parade. The Holiday Light's Parade is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. and leading up to that time, available parking will be removed from the parade route for this event.

The parade will enter Fargo from Moorhead on NP Avenue North and continue westbound until Broadway. The parade will turn northbound on Broadway at NP Avenue North and continue northbound until 8th Avenue North where the parade will end.

Vehicles left parked on the parade route will be ticketed and towed from their locations as the route is prepared for this community event. Please pay attention to the posted temporary signage.

Information about public parking available in City owned parking lots can be found at www.fargoparking.com.
