Little by little, North Dakota students are showing the big impact of their generosity at the Fargodome.
About 100 volunteers were helping unload all of the donated food items Monday from the "Fill The Dome" event.
This year's goal was to feed about half a million people.
Students say the event was a great opportunity to learn about community service and grow new friendships, all while helping others.
"We have students ranging from kindergarten all the way to college students here helping out and even adults," said Fargo South senior, Cody Hassler. "And the relationships and bonding that the community gets to do over this one event for a common cause it truly remarkable."
"Fill The Dome" is still taking monetary donations.
Every dollar donated equals about four meals.
The debate is getting even more heated over the new Edgewood Estates development proposal. Wednesday night neighbors had the opportunity to really speak their mind.
