North Dakota State women's basketball junior guard Brooke LeMar was named The Summit League Player of the Week after leading the Bison in both of their games last week against Northern Iowa and Milwaukee. It's her first career Player of the Week honor.
In Wednesday's game against UNI, the junior recorded 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting while dishing out eight assists.
Saturday, at Milwaukee, LeMar nearly recorded a double-double, scoring 25 points and snagging nine rebounds. She also had five assists in the contest.
For the week, the Canyon Country, Calif., native averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 assists and six boards per game along with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio. LeMar also shot 50 percent from the field, going 20-of-40.
NDSU returns to action Friday, Nov. 29, when it faces Montana in the DoubleTree LA Westside Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Loyola-Marymount in Los Angeles.
