Posted: Updated:

Police are asking for your help in finding a man wanted for an armed robbery in Grand Forks Sunday night.

The suspect, who is described as a white male, 20 to 30-years old, robbed a north end Valley Dairy store with a fake pistol. He's believed to be driving a dark colored Chevy pickup, with an unknown license plate.

Police say the suspect walked into the Valley Dairy Store at North 5th Street and Gateway Drive at 9:45 Sunday night, carrying a fake pistol that looked very realistic. He demanded money from the clerk and left the store with less than five-hundred dollars.

The female clerk was not injured.

Lt. Jim Remer, Grand Forks Police: "Some of the items he had on him have been recovered. The ski mask he was wearing was recovered. The replica gun he had on him was recovered later."

Lieutenant Remer says the clerk was traumatized by the incident, but she was able to tell them… that she saw the suspect run down the alleyway behind the store and get into a pickup that was less than a block away.

The ski mask and fake pistol were found in the area, where the man got into a pickup and drove away.

Reporter: "Is someone else involved? Was there someone else driving that pickup?"

Lt. Jim Remer: "It is possible that there is someone else involved. We don't have a description of a second subject.
