It's time once again for the sight of those iconic red kettles and bells.

The Salvation Army of Fargo-Moorhead kicked off their 2013 Red Kettle campaign, Wednesday morning, in hopes of raising $950,000 during their five week campaign.

Last year, red kettles in the F-M surpassed their goal of $825,000 bringing in $911,000. With the help of nearly 5,000 volunteers.

This year, the Salvation Army estimates they'll need 6,000 volunteers to man 34 kettle sites across the F-M area.
