Tense moments late this morning when a burglar entered a south Fargo home and almost got away with a TV.

Police were called to 1538 2nd Avenue South just before noon.

Someone inside was awoken by a window breaking in the back of the home, and they noticed a burglar trying to get away with a TV.

They were able to scare the burglar away, who dropped the TV in the back yard.

Police don't have anyone in custody, but say the person inside the home knew who the burglar was.
