ND Dog Missing For 2 Months Found In Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:

(KFOR) A family in Minot, North Dakota was devastated when their beloved boxer went missing two months ago but now they are being reunited with their dog, thanks to an animal shelter in Edmond.

Tina Bohn thought 8-year-old Jasmine was lost forever when she never came back to her North Dakota home.

Little did she know the boxer would be found hundreds of miles away.

Willy Fields, the kennel master at Free to Live Animal Sanctuary, discovered the dog wandering along a Logan County road earlier this month.

He immediately took her to get checked by a vet and discovered that Jasmine had a microchip with all of her owner's information.

The shelter believes Jasmine was stolen and brought to Oklahoma before being found by Fields.

Now, she is flying home to be reunited with her owner.
