Valley Today Visits Kerry's Kitchen

Posted: Updated:

Throughout the month of November, The Valley Today crew has been stopping by some small towns checking out the favorites of the locals.

Tuesday, The Valley Today stopped by Kerry's Kitchen, in Casselton, North Dakota for a visit.

For the past 20 years, Kerry's Kitchen has been a part of Casselton. Although it originally started out as Kerry's Sweet Shop, Owner Kathy Radermacher, sold her business after owning it for 10 years.

Radermacher kept baking, running a few other shops in Fargo and then when asked to re-open her cafe in Casselton about 2 years ago, she did.

She's been baking since as long as she can remember. Radermacher says she started cooking with her mom and baking on her own since the age of 16. She learned how to cook everything from scratch and brought those skills with her to her restaurant.

The entire menu at Kerry's Kitchen is made from scratch. From the sandwich buns to the cookies, even the cheeseburgers. However, the locals will tell you their favorite is the caramel roll and even say it's "the best" you'll ever have.

Kerry's Kitchen is located at 730 Front Street in Casselton, North Dakota. Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
