THE LATEST

Charges have now been filed in a Grand Forks stabbing case. Ruben Cisneros Junior was murdered during a burglary on Sunday.

Joe Saucedo has been charged with murder. Three other suspects, Vincent Gladue, Thomas Begg and Jennifer Blue, all face the felony charge of conspiracy to commit burglary.

Law enforcement and the States Attorney have all declined to talk about the case on camera, because they say it’s ongoing. However, court records have been filed.

Thirty-three-year old Ruben Cisneros Junior died of multiple stab wounds near the front door of his rural Grand Forks home near the airport, where he lived with his brother and father.

It happened early Sunday morning, when the trio of suspects, allegedly broke down the front door to retrieve the belongings of Ruben’s former girlfriend.

Court records say Jennifer Blue was also at the scene and also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, after all four suspects allegedly fled in a stolen vehicle. They were later arrested in East Grand Forks.

This tragedy for Cisneros family could not have happened at a worse time. Ruben Cisneros Junior was murdered just three weeks after his mother died.

Jennifer Blue made her initial court appearance in court Tuesday afternoon.  She also faces charges related to using false identities to try and obtain drugs from Altru Hospital.

The other 3 suspects are awaiting extradition from the Polk County Jail in Crookston, since they were arrested in East Grand Forks.

 MONDAY UPDATE 6:20 P.M.

Three people are in custody Monday night, another person is dead, all tied to a weekend stabbing.

Authorities say the victim was found dead in a home west of Grand Forks on Highway 2 early Sunday. But beyond that, the information that has been released has been minimal at best.

Despite our repeated requests the sheriff has released very little including, where exactly the alleged crime took place.

Sheriff Bob Rost has says the man killed was 33 years old.

Authorities have a certain period of time before they either charge the three men, or must release them.

Valley News Live will continue to make calls to the Sheriff and stay with us for updates.
