Fargo Police Investigating Two Home Break-Ins

Posted: Updated:

Fargo Police are investigating two home break-ins on the city's south side late Sunday night.

The first was reported in the 4000 block of 18 Avenue South around 10:30 p.m. The victim told police the suspect had a gun.

The second call came in at 11:15 p.m. from the 1400 block of West Gateway Circle.

Police say one of the tenants heard a noise, and confronted the burglar before he got in.

Bryant Geis says, "our dog started barking so he woke us up and we thought he was barking at nothing, but we came upstairs and there were police officers in our house and our roommate said that someone was creeping around, knocking on our windows and peering in."

The suspect was chased off by another roommate and police responded with k-9 on the canvass, but did not find anyone. The investigation is still on-going.
