Man Cited with a DUI After A Two Car Crash in Grand Forks

One person has been charged with drinking and driving after a head-on crash in Grand Forks.

It happened at the 700 block on South 42nd St. around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say Travis Rasmussen, 38, drove his car into the opposite lane and hit a truck. 

Rasmussen went to the hospital and was later released.

The other driver wasn't hurt.

Rasmussen has been cited with Care Required While Operating a Motor Vehicle, Driving with a Revoked License, and Driving While Under the Influence of Alcoholic Beverage.
