Fargo Police Car Rammed During Traffic Stop

Posted: Updated:

A Fargo man is in jail after police say he rammed one of their squad cars during a traffic stop.

They say 20-year-old Michael Robert Foley backed into the police car while an officer was talking to dispatch. Foley took off, but was later found at his home.

He faces numerous charges including DUI, DUI test refusal, reckless driving, DUS, driving with no insurance, fleeing and leaving the scene of an accident. Police say Foley also has three outstanding warrants.

A wrecker crew had to pry the fender off of the squad car tire before towing it away.
