The Valley Today Visits The Eagle Cafe in Barnesville

Posted: Updated:

Every Wednesday in November, The Valley Today is hitting the road and showcasing some the regions best small town diners and cafes.

This morning the Valley Today crew stopped by the Eagle Cafe in Downtown Barnesville. Located at 106 Front Street, the Eagle Cafe has been a staple in Barnesville since the 1940's and at it's current location since 1983.

Like most small town cafes, the menu features homemade favorites made from scratch. The Eagle is famous for daily homemade soup, mashed potatoes, hot beef sandwiches and much more.

You'll even find some unique creations like cinnamon roll french toast and the "big" burger. Of-course it wouldn't be a local cafe without some of the locals that frequent on a daily basis. They'll even give you some friendly advice to stick with just one pancake and not try to finish an entire stack.

The Eagle Cafe is open Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
