Man Tasered During Fargo Traffic Stop

Posted: Updated:

A Fargo man is in the Cass County Jail after Fargo Police say they had to taser him during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

Officers say he initially refused to stop for unsafe driving when they tried to pull him over. They didn't chase him, but later caught up with him in the 52nd Avenue South Wal-Mart parking lot where police say he again refused to comply. That's when they tasered him.

Thirty-nine-year-old Andrew Scott Thompson was arrested for DUI, DUI test refusal, fleeing, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment.
